Daily Devotional. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures…. Titus 3:3. On a personal level, you personally, me personally, anyone personally, take a minute, or so, to stand back and take an overall look at the Full Big Picture covering the church, (4 walls AND Body of Christ), general teachings and theologies, and your life in general. This is not to nit-pick at anything, just a big overall view of religion as you know it. With this in mind, here’s my question, the first of two. When you look at the Lord with your understanding of His Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity, does there seem to be a lack between where you are in the Lord, and where He is? Big gap or small gap, you decide that one. Now, if you believe there is a gap, go on to question two. Do you have a Heart Attitude to Follow this lack to the end and do something about it? Do you have a Burden to have Christ fill this gap with Himself until the gap is filled in? Are you even willing to chase down Christ to fill the gap, no matter what it takes or where it takes you? Can you let your pride take a beating if needed? Or run through the furnace 7 times hotter to burn out worldliness, if Christ so chooses? We can be so steeped in deception we may not see the Full extent in our lives and lives around us without asking for an outside source to reveal it to us. (This is where pride takes a hit, asking for outside help). With a Great Falling Away on its way in, it can become easy to avoid questions like these. Isn’t it better to ask ourselves these questions NOW and do something about them, than later have Christ ask us why we avoided these questions and did nothing about them? This comes under the heading, “Can we judge ourselves first before Christ has to”? Just asking, go ponder, and Be Blessed.
