Daily Devotional. If ye then be risen with Christ, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1. Still going for Simplicity. Why? Because there are so many things out there that want to grab your attention, your emotions, your sense of duty, your guilt, your anything and everything, FOR THE TOTAL PURPOSE OF PUTTING YOU IN BONDAGE, GUILT, SHAME, AND CONDEMNATION, if you don’t do this and forgot to do that. There is always some new thing, some new meaning to the scriptures, some new correction to replace a mistake some scribe made, or someone misinterpreted, or SOMETHING. All designed to get you to look at his “thing”, and get your eyes off Christ. Yes, the Bible is full of, Do this, don’t do that, remember this, forget that, do’s and don’ts about talking and istening, eating, and marriage. All kinds of stuff about all kinds of stuff. DON’T THROW OUT ANY OF THE BIBLE. It’s ALL for our Growth. But don’t get hung up on some little word or part, a rule, or law. All the, “Thou shalt not’s”, and, “Remember”, are good, BUT CHRIST CAME AND FULFILLED ALL THOSE THINGS, ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF ETERNITY, PAID IN FULL, NOW, HE RESTS WITH THE FATHER, AND WE REST IN HIM, FOR EVER!!! Some of our doctrines, our thinking, come straight from Hell. Some are for us to feel good about helping God. Some are pure rebellion because we’re going to do it our way and God will just have to understand, we’re doing this for Him. From 10 commandments in the Old Testament, to 2 Commandments in the New Testament, to just 2 Words, SEEK CHRIST . Do THIS Perfectly, and everything else falls by the wayside. Seek Him, Seek Christ, and, Be Blessed.
