As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a FIRE OF COALS there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. John 21:9. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues LIKE AS OF FIRE, and it sat upon each of them. Acts 2:3. And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; BLOOD, AND FIRE, and vapour of smoke: Acts 2:19. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap COALS OF FIRE on his head. Romans 12:20. In FLAMING FIRE taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 Thessalonians 1:8. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41. The Word “Fire” appears in the Bible 515 times with a number of different meanings. Above are just a few different ones. Most people fear fire because it means pain and suffering. Many Christians will run TO the Fire because it means pain and suffering AND Purifying, Patience, Cleansing, and CHRISTLIKENESS. Everyone is going to deal with fire sometime. So why not run for and INTO the furnace 7 times hotter now and be made Pure now, for all Eternity, instead of avoid all fire at any expense now and find yourself in fire, FOR ALL ETERNITY??? Be burned to Eternal Life now, or be burned to Eternal Death later. Your choice, choose wisely, Be Blessed.
