Daily Devotional. ONLY FEAR THE LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. 1 Samuel 12:24. Until you come to the place where the Lord takes first place in your heart and life, you will always have some doubt as to whether or not He truly can save you and take care of you. Yes, every Christian can have moments of doubt or fear, maybe take a step backward before two steps forward, even a short time falling back into sin. These are not the guidelines to determine if you truly are Saved or not. These all come under the heading of LIFE. The big question is, if you have meet Christ, then you know that He Saved and He will keep you Saved, in spite of Life. In Christ, your life will be changing to more and more like Christ. The Journey to CHRISTLIKENESS is a daily hard road to travel, BUT TRAVEL YOU WILL AND OTHERS AROUND YOU WILL SEE YOU CHANGE. Becoming less fearful as the days pass is understanding the Love Christ has for you. The more you see His Love fill you, the less room there will be for fear. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love”. 1 John 4:18. As you understand Christ’s Love for you, you will (change) grow in love towards your fellow man. ALL your fellow man. And with NO FEAR of your fellow man. Eventually a Love for them to be Saved so much that you will be willing to talk to them, WITH NO FEAR OF WHAT (they think) THEY CAN DO TO YOU. Now, it’s ALL about Christ and what He did for you, and NONE of what THEY (think) they can do to you. His Perfect Love will hold fear at bay. Fear will leave as His Love Conquers ALL fear in you. NOW, Live Fearlessly and, you will, Be Blessed.
