Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1875

Daily Devotional. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH NOT, and the fire is not quenched. WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH NOT, and the fire is not quenched. WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:43-44, 46, 48. Look up these verses, they were taken out of a story Jesus is telling about a place called Hell. Three times Jesus declared “The worm dieth not”, because it’s that important, He said it 3 times. Here’s your story, if Christ doesn’t Know you. You die, and wake up in the flames and torment of Hell. Great suffering. After a while you suddenly find yourself back in your own home watching Billy Graham on TV give an alter call. You’re back home, remembering your terrible nightmare about Hell. In your mind you’re thinking, “Now’s my chance to receive Christ, I’ll take it”, you fall in your face on the floor before Billy Graham on the TV and start to say the words (of repentance and anguish over your sins), and just before the first word comes out of your mouth, YOU FIND YOURSELF BACK IN HELL, where THE WORM DIETH NOT. The worm is your conscience remembering ALL the times you heard the Gospel call you to Christ, AND YOU SAID “NO”. Now you get to re-live ALL those moments over, and over, and over again, for all of eternity. Being “back home” isn’t a relief from Hell, it’s a reminder of all the times Christ called you, and you said “NO”. Each time you try to call out to Christ in repentance, only to snap back to the reality of Hell. It’s a Living Death and reminder of Christ and His Mercy to you, REJECTED. And if you read this MORNINGTIME, reject Christ, AGAIN, and die in your sins, you’ll remember THIS MOMENT for ever, and ever, and ever, too. NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION, CALL ON CHRIST, REPENT OF YOUR SINS, BE SAVED, BE BLESSED.
