Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1874

Daily Devotional. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, AS A ROARING LION, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8. For you Believers, you Followers of Christ, there should be NO FEAR in this verse, for you. The Bible tells us that, other than Fear the Lord, there is NOTHING on this earth that we are to fear. As far as Christians are concerned, Christ DEFEATED, I repeat, DEFEATED, Satan at the Cross of Calvary. (Just wanted to remind Satan of that, in case he forgot). Satan can do NOTHING to you until, and not before, his request to the Lord to do you harm, is granted. AND, when his request to do you harm is granted, it had rules attached to it so Satan can only go so far, and then he has to stop. He will NEVER be allowed to give you more than you can handle. And what he is allowed to do fits exactly with what you need to grow in the Lord. If Satan wants to kill you, and the Lord says, “No, you can’t kill him, but you can break his arm”, it’s being allowed because if your arm is broken, it will accomplish something in you that can’t be done any other way. It’s a win win for everyone. Satan’s glad he can cause you pain by breaking your arm, the Lord is pleased because this will grow you in Christ, and you’re content to know the Lord has EVERYTHING under control and that whatever happens to you has to go through the Throne Room FIRST . Don’t misunderstand, we must keep a vigilant watch on Satan and his traps. He does get in when we ease up and let our guard down. But that won’t happen if we stay sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Did you mess up? Well, find Repentance, Be Forgiven, AND KEEP ON KEEPING ON. Deal with it, grow because of it, and keep on Seeking and Following Christ. Christ has made you a Victor. Live in Victory, and, Be Blessed.
