WHEN THOU ART IN TRIBULATION, and all these things are come upon thee, even IN THE LATTER DAYS, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt BE OBEDIENT UNTO HIS VOICE; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) HE WILL NOT FORSAKE thee, neither destroy THEE, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Deuteronomy 4:30&31. Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when TRIBULATION or persecution ARISETH because of the word, by and by HE IS OFFENDED. Matthew 13:21. FOR THEN SHALL BE GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:21. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. John 16:33. Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that WE MUST THROUGH MUCH TRIBULATION ENTER into the kingdom of GOD. Acts 14:22. TRIBULATION and anguish, UPON every soul of MAN THAT DOETH EVIL, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; Romans 2:9. And not only so, but WE GLORY IN TRIBULATIONS also: knowing that TRIBULATION WORKETH PATIENCE; Romans 5:3. WHO SHALL SEPARATE US FROM the love of CHRIST? Shall TRIBULATION, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35. Ok, we’re promised tribulation, for our good. Are they ministers of Christ? (I, Paul, speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, IN PERILS OF waters, robbers, by mine own countrymen, by the heathen, in the city, in the wilderness, 2 Corinthians 11:23-26.
