Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1793

Daily Devotional. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and WHICH HAD NOT WORSHIPPED THE BEAST, NEITHER HIS IMAGE, NEITHER HAD RECEIVED HIS MARK UPON THEIR FOREHEADS, OR IN THEIR HANDS; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4. People have been being killed for 6000 years in every way imaginable. Even to losing their heads. But this verse is time specific. It’s talking about people being beheaded, (could be anytime in 6000 years), for the Word of God, (again 6000 years), AND NOT worship the Beast etc. THAT is the time specific part, of the Tribulation and can cover no other time in history. That means there will still be Christians during the Tribulation. Christians so solidly anchored in Christ that NOTHING Satan can throw at them can shake them. These are some Strong Believers. Test time, can you or I, or our church congregation, anyone you pick, stand Solidly in the face of Satan, take EVERYTHING he can throw at them, and still be absolutely Christlike in Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity, RIGHT NOW? How many years does it take to build a Christian this way? During the Tribulation, Christians WILL BE just like the early church of Acts, AND MORE. Yes, there will also be 144,000 Saved Jews preaching the gospel, and how many other Christians will be preaching also? I don’t know, but I suspect it will be all of them. When you KNOW that any moment may be your last, then your last words will be carefully chosen and spoken with great emphasis of importance. It you knew you will die in 2 weeks, will your preaching or teaching change any? Will you care more about Christ and less about the world? Will instructions to your family be more specific? Will your ears be more in tuned to the Holy Spirit? If no, are you asleep? If yes, guess what, we’re not even assured of tomorrow!!! Be Blessed.
