Daily Devotional. In the beginning GOD CREATED the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1. Yet I WILL REJOICE in the Lord , I WILL JOY in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:18. Attitude #1, Ya, ok, that’s a good verse, I believe it, so, what time does the game start? Attitude #2, WOW, GOD MADE EVERYTHING!!! He is so Huge, so Mighty, so Glorious, so Awesome, AND HE LOVES ME!!!!!!!! He made everything from the largest star we have yet found, called Cannis Majoris, Latin for Big Dog, all the way down to the particles that make up the parts of the atom. And everything in between. If you were given the time and ability to study anything and everything you wanted to for 100 years at 16 hours a day with every possible resource fully available to you, at the end of the 100 years, you would discover you had only scratched the surface of God’s Creation. It’s that huge, that tiny, that Awesome, even of this, the world around us, is too great for us to fathom. Think about it, or maybe don’t, you can go insane trying to comprehend the physical world around us. Now let’s go a whole lot deeper and a whole lot heavier. To study the Bible, to search the Scriptures, to Seek the Face of God, to hear and comprehend that Still, Small Voice of the Holy Spirit, THAT WILL TAKE AN ETERNITY OF ETERNITYS TO JUST GET STARTED IN FINDING OUT ABOUT GOD. Attitude #1, Ya, I read my bible this week, don’t judge me. Attitude #2, Lord, my words are so puny, how do I even start to try to Praise You, Honor You, and Worship you as You so richly deserve?
