Daily Devotional. And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, THAT I WILL GIVE YOU THE RAIN OF YOUR LAND IN HIS DUE SEASON, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; And then the Lord’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, THAT THERE BE NO RAIN, AND THAT THE LAND YIELD NOT HER FRUIT; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the Lord giveth you. Deuteronomy 11:13-17. Does this not sound like a very simple to understand Word from the Lord saying, very simply, “Love Me and Be Blessed, turn from Me, and you turn away from, Be Blessed”? It’s very easy to see this country, as far as rain goes, is in big trouble, and getting worse. With rain, animals, crops, and people, are all blessed. Without rain, animals, crops, and people don’t get blessed. God has all kinds of Life and Blessings around Him. When we walk WITH Him, we walk IN His Blessings. When we walk AWAY from Him, it’s by OUR choice to walk AWAY from His Blessings. If your boss has your paycheck in his hand waiting for you to take it, AND YOU DON’T, you just walk away and leave it in his hand, who’s at fault for not getting the paycheck? Is your boss a mean man for not paying you? Or are you at fault for not taking your paycheck? Is God at fault for withholding rain, OR IS THE CHURCH AT FAULT FOR NOT WALKING IN THE BLESSINGS OF THE LORD? Yes, this concept is so simple, SO WHY IS THE (GENERAL) CHURCH STILL WALKING AWAY FROM THE LORD? Answer that one Truthfully, and you will, Be Blessed.
