Daily Devotional. That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, CAUSE THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL TO CEASE FROM BEFORE US. Isaiah 30:9-11. When was the last time, or, when was the only time, or, was there ever a time, when you went to church, sat down, and the Holy Spirit was all over you, showing you your sins, and you could do nothing but cry out in Repentance and ask for Forgiveness, and you didn’t care who was around or who was listening? Many times, once, never? Do we go to church, prepared, and ready to hear from the Lord, from start to finish, and then go home to talk with The Lord to ask how today’s message applies you? Then ask the Lord to apply His Words to your life for the rest of the week, and beyond. Are you looking for the Lord’s Plan of what He wants to do to and for you, your life, your soul, for today and all of eternity? Or do you, unprepared and uninterested, go to church, grab a coffee and donut, catch up on the latest gossip, sorry, prayer list, find fault with the Sunday School teacher, dissect the preachers message that was obviously meant for the person sitting next to you, and go home satisfied that you’ll go to church, but your money never will, and turn on the TV for the next 3 hours? Are you going to church to get and glean every last Word and crumb from the Masters Table? Or, this is all good stuff for that other guy because I’ve been forgiven of ALL my sins and no longer need to repent of things I’ve been forgiven of, that were thrown into the sea of forgetfulness? You know, once saved, always saved. And I got saved 40 years ago, I was sincere, so don’t judge me lest ye be Judged, or something like that. I know it’s there, somewhere. APOSTASY KILLS, ONLY THE WORD BRINGS LIFE. Be Blessed.
