Daily Devotional. And Moses took the tabernacle, (his own personal prayer closer), and pitched it without the camp, (for the camp and all the people had become defiled), afar off from the camp, (in a clean place of NO defilement), and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. (The congregation being all the people who had a heart for the Lord), And it came to pass, that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp. Exodus 33:7. Later in this chapter, God shows up and comes to Moses prayer closet just to talk with Moses. And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day He called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. Exodus 24:12, 15-16. The Lord has instructed Moses to come up to the top of the mountain to have a little talk. Moses went up and waited on the Lord for 6 days before the Lord said anything to him. During this time, Moses just prayed, worshipped, and honored the Lord. He wasn’t looking for a response from the Lord, he was just content to worship the Lord, endlessly. Six days was as no time at all. Time stops in the Presence of the Lord, yes, it really does. This is what happens when you just Worship the Lord in your prayer closet. Just Praise and Honor the Lord and He WILL make it well worth your time. To Praise the Lord is to give Him, YOU, just you, NO requests, just praising Him. You’ll touch God and Heaven, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
