Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1668

Daily Devotional. Many will say to me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY. Matthew 7:22-23. The greatest untapped, “Fields white unto harvest” resource in the world today, is in the church. (At this point, let’s not get into a numbers fight, lost is lost, let’s not lose focus). Those outside the church, the unsaved who have never met Christ, are great in number and relatively easy to bring to Christ when the simple truth of the Gospel of Christ is presented to them. The harder “field” is right in the midst of our churches all across America today. The “Lord Lord” people are the people IN THE CHURCH who have had some sort of understanding that they are now “saved” and they can’t lose their “salvation”. There is no change in their life, they just call themselves christian on the scantiest of evidence. They are hard to talk to because they know they’re saved, and if pushed, they will tell you not to judge them. They can point to no fruits in their lives, but can tell you the minute and day they were saved. Preachers won’t challenge them for fear they will pull up stakes and leave the church. A “numbers driven” church will do everything it can to keep everyone on the rolls, at any expense. How many Lord Lord people do you have in your church? Jesus said they’re condemned to Hell if they don’t get saved. About 80% of America says they’re saved. Jesus said, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it”. Matthew 7:14. Do the math, many, to few, equals Lord Lord people. The “church” is white unto harvest. Reap, and, Be Blessed.
