Daily Devotional. And said unto them, It is written, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED THE HOUSE OF PRAYER; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matthew 21:13. What would happen IF: You come to church on Sunday morning and find all the doors are closed with a sign over each door saying, “Please enter in at the Straight Gate and Narrow Way at the front of the church, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you”. As you enter at the one open front door of the church you are quietly greeted and welcomed in. Another sign in the front entry room says, “Please come in and find a place to pray before the service begins. Preaching will start when the Pastor is ready”. The Pastor and Deacons are already inside praying. The usual start time comes and goes, no one cares. At some point the Message, the Gospel is given and some stop prayer to listen. Many keep on praying during the Preaching. When the Preaching is finished the Pastor goes back to his seat to pray. At various times during this time of prayer someone goes up front to pray, some in tears, some in anguish. The Lord minister’s to each one and they eventually go back to their seat for more prayer. Service “end” time comes and goes, no one cares. Some leave, many stay. Eventually everyone is gone, to come back and go at it all over again for next service. What would happen, If….. Be Blessed.
