The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18.(Preach the gospel, heavy). This is a command to spread the Gospel across the entire world. The first verse, “lite” applies to Believers, and non-believer, alike. ANYBODY preaching the Gospel is a good thing. In the past, have you ever seen some big name preacher begging money to go, somewhere, to preach a “revival” service for a week or two? His ministry looks a little off and eventually he is shown to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He may have never Known the Lord, but He did preach the gospel, lite. Then you have, “The spirit of the Lord”, heavy, Preacher, who is a Blood Bought and Redeemed Man of God, Preaching the Gospel with, (the rest of the verse), signs following. He can only do these signs and wonders by the Holy Spirit and continuously gives all Praise and Glory to the Lord. Only the “Heavy” Preachers, Teachers, and Joe-Sheepers can obey and do as the Holy Spirit leads. The point here is that even when a “dead man walking” is Preaching the Gospel, the Lord will honor the Gospel and the results the Holy Spirit gives, whether the “preacher” is saved or not. The Gospel is Pure Truth, and the Lord won’t deny anyone the Truth no matter who it comes from. Pray for one another, saved or not, because they are all fair game for Salvation up to the day they die. Don’t give up on anyone, even Hitler went to Sunday School. (They made fun of him and he quit). Pray for them all, and, Be Blessed.
