Daily Devotional. For they served idols, whereof the Lord had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing. Yet the Lord testified against Israel, and against Judah (the church), by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets. 2 Kings 17:12-13. The days are getting darker and deader; there is much preaching going on, but very little of it is The Gospel; Satan worship, the occult, wiccan, and worldliness are putting Fear into many people’s lives, and they don’t know where to turn to for THE TRUTH, because the churches are right in the thick of it. Many churches have a celebration of the truth, as they see it, the same night Satan worshippers are proclaiming their truth, both have on costumes and go begging for stuff, or else! Churches celebrate dead people who have died for the cause of worldly freedom. If we’re going to do that, why don’t we at least celebrate the dead saints who died to give us spiritual freedom? Oh, wait, I’m sorry, the Catholic Church already does that. We only honor dead people, they pray TO dead people. It’s getting darker out there, and more and more churches are turning out the Light telling their congregations to go home and celebrate worldliness, with family. Or better yet, let’s just close our doors for the night, go to someone else’s church, and laugh at the visitors who come and can’t figure out where we’ve gone and why we’re closed. What? There’s not enough sin going on around us to warrant keeping both churches doors open? So much for consistency visitors can count on. Am I being sarcastic and making fun of hypocrisy? YES, YES, AND YES. WHERE IS HOLINESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND PURITY? With all this going on, can we still, Be Blessed?
