Daily Devotional. Pride goes before a fall. 1 Eccleserominthians 7:11. (The following is making a mountain out of a mole hill, unless it’s your mole hill and that would make it a mountain. This is also a major exaggeration just to make a point). The above “verse” is NOT found in the Bible. The Bible DOES say, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall”. Proverbs 16:18. The greatest Golden Calf Pride icon before the church in America today is the “Rapture Theologies”. This discussion is NOT about which version of the Rapture is right or not, but it IS about, WHY IS THE CHURCH NOT TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT SO WE CAN STAND UNITED BEFORE A CONFUSED AND DYING WORLD. On this subject alone, the church is just as confused as the world. As it stands now, all our Rapture “Theologies” PROVE that Jesus IS coming back AT LEAST 3 MORE TIMES. Tell me, am I wrong to say, “This is Pride, Arrogance and Haughtiness going on steroids??? Shouldn’t the “Authorities” in the church be calling for some kind of Conference to get this cleared up? At the least, couldn’t the American Baptist Church tackle this problem? Or are lies and deceptions so rampant IN THE CHURCH that there is no interest in caring Biblically for the sheep because it’s every Preacher for himself and he’ll teach his sheep alone HIS WAY AND HIS BELIEFS, no matter what the Bible says? IF, capital I F, there is no pre/mid-trib Rapture, will the lost ask, “If you lied to us about your Jesus coming back as you said, and He didn’t, what else about your Jesus are you lying about”? Is our “gospel” even more confusing to the lost? On the other hand, we can all stay in our respective “corners” preach OUR ways and trust Jesus to bring in the lost sheep, IN SPITE OF OUR ARGUING AMONG OURSELVES! Wouldn’t it be better to “go with the Jesus Flow”, than be washed aside in Worldly Pride and Arrogance? Jesus IS coming back for His Bride WITHOUT SPOT, BLEMISH OR WRINKLE, does that include YOUR Preaching, to GREATLY, Be Blessed?
