Tom walks into the room and wakes up his friend Joe, who is sound asleep. Joe asks, “What’s up, what are you all excited about”? Tom replies,” Joe, I’ve found the key, I have in my hands the key that will free you from your bondage, this is really great news and I want to give it to you. All you have to do is say these magic words, hold out your hand, and I’ll give you the key into your hands, and you’ll be free. Just repeat after me, “I’m free”, and you’ll be free”. (Joe does as he’s told), and Tom finishes by saying, “Joe, I now pronounce you a free man, go in peace, Brother”. Tom walks away happy that he’s made Joe a free man, and Joe, who doesn’t really understand much of anything that has just happened, says “Thank you”, puts the key in his pocket, rolls over and goes back to sleep. THIS IS SALVATION IN AMERICA. Most preachers have no real understanding of what True Salvation is and most “converts” have no idea of the bondage they are really in. This is the blind leading the blind and both are going to end up dead in the ditch. Most preachers have been taught a cheap, watered down, other gospel that is leading millions straight into Hell. The Battlefield is IN THE CHURCH, the 4 walls grassy front yard building. People go there looking for answers and all they get is stuff to try to keep them from leaving. “We’ll do whatever it takes to keep you coming back to our church, can’t you feel The Love”? When The Gospel is preached and left in the Hands of the Holy Spirit, He will cut you to the quick, He will show you your sins in all their glory, (or is that “gory”?) He will shake you to your very core, He will show you the” Hell” you deserve, and He will show you the Christ Who died in your place, FREEING YOU FROM YOUR BONDAGE.
