Daily Devotional. And I (the Lord) will make of thee (Israel) a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a Blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, AND CURSE HIM THAT CURSETH THEE: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3. And I will plead against him with PESTILENCE and with BLOOD; and I will RAIN upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an OVERFLOWING RAIN, and GREAT HAILSTONES, FIRE, and BRIMSTONE. Ezekiel 38:22. This is specifically about the coming Ezekiel 38 & 39 war, but it does represent weather related Judgments the Lord does bring on nations that do turn their backs to God. When a nation’s leadership goes rotten, all the people suffer for it. Whether today, or soon down the road, America WILL turn it’s back on Israel, the Lord will lift His Hand of “Protection” from off the people and the land, and all will suffer for it, even Believers. If a tornado wipes out most of a small town, ALL the towns people will have loss. Both the Saved and the Lost. The difference is, HEART ATTITUDE. A lost person has no Hope, Faith or Assurance of things getting better. A Believer has no confidence in worldly solutions, but can have GREAT Confidence in the Keeping Power of the Lord TO THEM Knowing that, come Hell our hight water, (even literally), the Lord holds them in the Palm of His Hand, and gives then Absolute Assurance of a Future with Him, all wrapped up with the Peace that passes understanding along with a heavy dose of Joy Unspeakable. The Lord will Guide, Guard, Direct and Protect the Believer INSPITE OF all the situations and circumstances swirling around them. The Lord WILL Carry you through, or Carry you Home, either way, He WILL Carry you no matter how hard it gets. To be Chastened, Chastised and Blessed IS the Believers Road. To be Judged, Condemned and suffer God’s Wrath is the Way of Lost people, until they Repent of their Sins, and Seek Forgiveness to, Be Blessed.
