Daily Devotional. Now this I say, THAT EVERY ONE OF YOU SAITH, I AM OF (…….), Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:12. Warning: this may step on some toes, proceed at your own peril, you have been warned!!! So what’s the difference between the Catholic Church, and the Baptist Church, and the Methodist Church, and the Mormon church, and the Muslim church, and the, ok, you got the picture? (please read carefully). ALL the churches of the world are the same, they are made up by man, and run by man, and what man wants to believe in. Man makes up his own church rules to please himself and what he wants to do. (Look at ISIS). They all have a god of their own making. Whether idols, images, statues, or some version of a false christ, all religions lead straight to Hell. No church or religion, or theology has ANY Redeeming Value at all, NONE. There is only ONE exception to this, and that is, THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. There is no other name under heaven by which man can be Saved. Is your first thought, “My church preaches the Gospel”? OK, take EVERYTHING your church says and does, just how much of all that stuff can be backed up with the Gospel? Let’s pick a number and say, 50%. This means your church is doing half Biblically Sound things, and half man centered things. Is ANYONE calling out error, and the church immediately trashes the error, or do you trash the man calling out error? Are you striving to grow in CHRISTLIKENESS? Or have you been doing the same old thing for 10 years, and still no positive results? To preach a 15 minute gospel, then live a 5 day worldly, just doesn’t cut it. Without Christ and HIS Gospel, we’re all just dead men walking. Church is not 2 hours on Sunday. Church IS Christ in you 24/7/365, or He’s nothing to you. He takes 2nd place to NOBODY. Are you Growing In Christ? Or are you stagnant in the world? Are you willing to honestly examine yourself right here, right now? READ THE GOSPEL, LIVE THE GOSPEL, AND, BE BLESSED.
