. Then said Jesus, “FATHER, FORGIVE THEM; FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO”. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:33-34. Who was Jesus asking forgiveness for??? The guards gambling for His clothes? The Jews for condemning Christ to the cross? All us New Testament Saints? Or was He asking for Forgiveness for every single person ever born, (or not born), to ever be on the earth, from Adam, to the last man standing? Christ died for ALL of mankind. EVERYONE. Sinners, and Saints. Everyone has an equal opportunity for Salvation. OK, so it wasn’t called “Salvation” in the Old Testament. Whatever God’s Standard was back then, it would have something to do with a Heart For The Lord. You and the Lord work out the exact details and definitions, I’ll still go with Saved. Christ’s Love, Mercy, and Grace is for all eternity, it never started, it never stopped, it’s always been and will be. God will Forgive everyone, all they have to do is Follow Christ, as the Holy Spirit leads them. Faith and Obedience is all one needs. That’s the simplified version, but you get the picture. On Judgment Day, every single person, ever alive, will see that Love, Mercy, and Grace extended from Christ, to them PERSONALLY. You’ll see every instance that Salvation was offered to YOU, and every time you REJECTED it. And for you Saved Sheep, you’ll see the moment when you were Saved, and choose to Follow Christ. That moment will be a time of sheer ecstasy for the Christian, and sudden Terror for those who Rejected Christ EVERY time, and never changed. Think on Christ, give Him your life, and, Be Blessed.
