Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1883

Daily Devotional. THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. And this commandment have we from him, That HE WHO LOVETH GOD LOVE(S) HIS BROTHER ALSO. 1 John 4:18, 21. And just who is your Brother? Like-minded Believers? Immediate family? A few close friends? Yes, all these are true, and more. I would like to suggest to you that this covers every single person on the face of the earth. Here’s why. I’m well aware that some will restrict “Brother” to our like-minded Believers in Christ, and that’s all. That’s a good start, but consider this. Were there any Christians who were friendly to you before you came to Christ? Did you have a grandmother, or someone, praying for you, talking to you, and even trying to Share Christ with you, BEFORE you came to Christ? That comes under the heading of a Christian Loving an un-regenerated sinner on his way to Hell. And you were Loved anyway!!! So the question is, who, of everyone in the world today, are you excused from Loving because they are un-lovable? Is there a person, or a group of people, religion, or Creed of people beyond Love? Are there people whom you will be Loving to, AND THEY WILL COME TO CHRIST? They’re not Believers now, but some will be later. Do you know who’s who today, who will come to Christ, next month? Or is it just plain better to Love everybody in spite of what they look like today? Case in point, the man named Saul/Paul. Did you see that one coming? There are many more just like him from EVERYWHERE. So do your best to love everyone, then let Christ share His Love through you, to Everyone you couldn’t, so EVERYONE gets your Love and EVERYONE gets to, Be Blessed.
