Daily Devotional. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Psalm 91:9-10. King David is talking to any Believers of his day, and all future Believers who read his Psalms. He has put us in with him, he has tied us together by proclaiming that we Believers have made the Lord our habitation and that he also knows the Lord as his Refuge. He’s saying we’re all in this together. And he finishes by saying that NO EVIL WILL FALL ON US, AND NO PLAGUE GETS TO COME TO OUR HOUSE. He’s telling us God does this kind of stuff, because that’s the kind of God He Is. This is proclaiming that God gets up close and personal. Like, “Ya, I KNOW where you live, and I’ll take care of you”. The Bible is full of these comments by God telling people if they will follow His Plan, His Way, He’ll take care of everything that can affect and effect our lives. He’s not our personal servant to do what we ask, WE ARE HIS BONDSERVANTS who will Joyfully be about His Business, NO MATTER WHAT HE ASKS OF US. Are you a True Believer, or are you going to hold back if the Lord asks something too hard of you? Will you love the Lord when times are nice, and easy? Will you still Love the Lord If He asks to take Home your granddaughter, wife, or husband? If there’s any chance you’re holding back even 1% of your trust and love for the Lord, PLEASE CHECK THE FINE PRINT, He REQUIRES 100%, or it’s no %. If He’s not your EVERYTHING, than He’s your nothing. He wants to be so Personal to you that you KNOW He IS your Everything. Now is the time to get this right, now is the time to, Be Blessed.
