For to one is given by the Spirit the WORD OF WISDOM; to another the WORD OF KNOWLEDGE by the same Spirit; To another FAITH by the same Spirit; to another the GIFTS OF HEALING by the same Spirit; To another the WORKING OF MIRACLES; to another PROPHECY; to another DISCERNING OF SPIRITS; to another DIVERS KINDS OF TONGUES; to another the INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man SEVERALLY AS HE WILL. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11. Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. 1 Corinthians 14:12. Christians have been given a suit of armour that fits each one exactly and perfectly. This suit had everything we need for a defensive posture, and more than enough for us to attack, and be completely and totally Victorious. But what are we to do on those occasions when we’re not in battle and in Life in general? The Holy Spirit had given us 9 Gifts to help us supernaturally live a full life in Christ. These aren’t just some ho-hum trinkets we get to give a little lip service to, these are 9 Gifts from the Holy Spirit of Christ Himself. Gifts we are to seek for and ask for as He shows us what and how we are to use them. These are critical aspects of the NORMAL Christian Walking with Christ daily. Without them, it’s like a Carpenter going to work without his toolbox. Maybe one time he could get away with it, but for the length of the whole job??? I don’t think so. His boss would never allow that to continue. If ANYBODY needs to be equipped For Life, it should defiantly be the Christian. Are you ready, FOR ANYTHING?
