And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it: And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way. And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments. Exodus 33:1-4. There’s a Concept here I don’t want us to miss. GOD MAY GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT, AND LEAVE. You got your “blessings”, and God left. And for those of you who ONLY believe God is a God of Love (only), this is going to step on your toes. Yes, God IS a God of Love, AND HE CAN BECOME ANGRY TOO!!! These people, this Jewish Nation, His hand-picked, chosen, and sealed with a Covenant, people, have just about crossed the line into oblivion, almost. God is actually, in His Mighty Mercy, calling out, one more time, for them to change. Here’s the point. We can go to a “good” church, see all kinds of “blessings”, (according to our definition of blessings), and totally miss the Warnings of God before He leaves, AND NO ONE NOTICES. The church is all wrapped up in all the things THEY want to do, and call it a God Blessed Body of Believers, ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN MAN MADE IDOL WORSHIP DEFINITION, with the idea, all is well. They will totally miss the Lord because they KNOW they’re doing it “right”. They have no Watchman on the wall to call out a warning. And if someone did call out, would anyone listen? This is a hard question, BUT WHO’S WATCHING FOR THE ENEMY? Who Loves you enough to call out, to sound the alarm, do you love them enough to listen, to compare their warnings to The Word of God, and, Be Blessed?
