All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, THROUGHLY FURNISHED unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. So just what does “THROUGHLY FURNISHED” mean? Somewhat ready? Partially prepared? Probably a lot of what he needs? I don’t think so!!! IT MEANS HE HAS EVERYTHING HE NEEDS TO DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING GOD WANTS HIM TO DO, TODAY. This means you, Believer. You have everything, in your possession to do anything the Lord asks you to do. You are fully prepared. “But I’m just a baby lamb”. Sorry, that won’t cut it. “But I’ve only been a Christian for 3 years, I don’t know much”. Sorry, that won’t cut it either. The Holy Spirit has prepared you TODAY to be obedient TODAY with your assignment for TODAY. You are fully qualified to walk out of your comfort zone and into the face of Hell, and send Satan running TODAY. You, (and I), have no excuse to not do this TODAY, right NOW, none. Except one, we do have one very good excuse that will stop this whole thing in its tracks. NO FAITH THAT GOD CAN FULFILL HIS WORD. Partial Faith is no Faith, it’s all or nothing. Peter had Faith to walk on the water, then lost it. There’s no walking on water waist deep. You’re in or you’re out. Lack of Faith means some Faith, and some doubt. How far does that fly with God? You’re partially saved??? You’re saved, or you’re not saved. Maybe you should think about that for a minute. Christ is calling a FAITH FILLED people. People walking in 100% Faith, and growing. Not mixed faith, Full Faith and growing. Small Faith? NO, FULL FAITH, and building. A glass with pure water in it, is still pure water. The amount doesn’t detract from pure. Your “YES” obedience is pure, great or small doesn’t matter. (Ya, tell God He’s wrong, you really aren’t ready. Thanks God, maybe another time). Say YES to, “THROUGHLY FURNISHED”, and, Be Blessed.
