Daily Devotional. If ye will fear the Lord , and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then shall both ye AND ALSO THE KING THAT REIGNETH OVER YOU continue following the Lord your God: 1 Samuel 12:14. The Lord is somewhat put out that the people have demanded a king and have rejected the Lord. Never-the-less, the Lord gave them a king, and verse 14 is an encouragement to them. Samuel is telling the people, if they will fear, serve, obey, and not rebel, the Lord, then even the king will follow the Lord. In present day terms, if the congregation will honor the Lord, even the pastor will honor the Lord. If the churches will honor the Lord, even our government will honor the Lord. But If the churches will not, (verse 14), honor the Lord, then our government will not honor the Lord. THE CHURCHES OF AMERICA ARE AWASH IN SIN, THEREFORE OUR LEADERS ARE GOING TO BE AWASH IN SIN. The “state” of America is a direct reflection on the “state” of the church. A healthy church, will be a healthy America. THE CHURCH LEADS THE WAY, and our government will follow. IT HAS TO, God just said so in verse 14. God will NOT bring revival to America, until He first brings revival to the church, until He first brings revival TO YOU. Unless, and until, YOU seek revival from the Lord, there will be no revival. It doesn’t start with someone else, IT STARTS WITH YOU. If you don’t, God won’t. The church in America leads the way. Don’t look at others to fix our problems, look in the mirror, that’s the only place real revival starts. Without you, IT ISN’T GOING TO HAPPEN. With you, we ALL will, Be Blessed
