Daily Devotional. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; REPROVE, REBUKE, EXHORT with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:2-3. Understand, when a Godly Preacher gives a fresh Message from the Lord to his congregation, all he can do is obediently deliver what the Lord gives him, THAT’S ALL. Now the Holy Spirit takes that message to each and every person and goes to Work exposing sin in that person’s life. This goes for the goats AND the sheep in the congregation. Everyone will be held accountable for the Gospel they hear, on Judgment Day. The Word will NEVER return void. We will ALL have to answer to the Lord for the Word of the Lord ministered to us here on this earth. No one escapes. Silly stories and stupid jokes will all fall by the way-side, but the Gospel will stand forever. That being said, as the Gospel Message is being preached, and as sin is quietly being exposed, those comfortable with their secret sins will become less and less comfortable sitting on the pew as the Holy Spirit shreds their sin, and excuses, to ribbons. He will REQUIRE them to do something about it. Their choice is, repent, be forgiven, and Grow in the Lord, or, head for the door and never come back as they try to find a less convicting preacher. One with a nicer, smoother word that doesn’t bother them. This is how the Lord cleans up our messes, and cleans out the dead wood from the House. His Convicting Power will Purify and Cleanse a body of people into The Body of Christ. With that, you will, Be Blessed.
