Daily Devotional. The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect SHALL BE AS HIS MASTER. Luke 6:40. “Perfect: to render, i.e. to fit, sound, complete”. Let’s look at this as a concept. Is this a stretch off the deep end, or is this of Sound Biblical Context? No we are not nor ever shall be equal with Christ. No problem there. Under the right conditions of the heart attitude, of Obedience, of all that Christ asks, and commands, of us, at its Best, just how much CHRISTLIKENESS can we have or be? Even God Himself says, BE YE HOLY for I am Holy. How much Holiness can the Lord put into us? How far can we go to be like the Master? None of this can we do, it is ALL a work of the Holy Spirit. Christ is our example of what we are to be like, so how much can we be like Him??? Can God grow us to 50%, 75%, 97%, dare I think possible 99%? Christ walked as a man on this earth in TOTAL FULL OBEDIENCE to the Father. That’s the goal. So how much will the Lord allow in closeness to His Son on this earth? I don’t know, BUT I’M ASKING!!! Is there a built in buffer between God and man that man can’t cross, can’t get too close to God, some sort of stopping point? OR IS GOD JUST WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ASK HIM FOR ALL HE HAS, FOR ALL CHRIST PAID FOR, FOR ALL THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS TO FILL THAT PERSON WITH??? Moses asked the Lord to show him His Glory. In these end days, harder days than have ever been on the earth before, is God looking for a People who Know Him and are willing to put it all on the line, and dare to ask for EVERYTHING the Lord has for him on this side, whatever the cost, no holds barred, no excuses, no backing up, just running full tilt straight into God and see what happens? DO YOU DARE TEST GOD FOR EVERYTHING, AND GET IT? You have not because you ask not. No more, not me, I’M ASKING, I KNOW IT CAN BE DONE. God will have to tell me, Sorry, you’re asking way over your head, that’s too much Faith. Really? BE BLESSED!!!
