Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1693

Daily Devotional. PREACH THE WORD; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2. Here’s an illustration, let’s not fuss fight. Who is more qualified to Preach the Gospel? Hitler, the nice guy down the street who doesn’t know the Lord, a 2 day old brand new Believer, or an ordained Preacher with more letters after his name than the alphabet has letters? The answer is, ALL OF THEM can preach the gospel. During a time in his life, Adam was the most Godly man on the face of the earth. At another time, he was THE greatest sinner on the face of the earth. And during all his time, he taught his family all about God. MAN can preach, teach, and minister words to other people and MAN can do no more. That’s it, he stops talking, the air stops moving, everything he just said, is GONE. Only the Holy Spirit can take those words AND APPLY THEM TO MAN AND BRING LIFE UNTO SALVATION. Here’s the other side of the coin. The more a man studies the Bible, the more he understands about God, the more he lives it, the more he knows what he’s talking about. Hitler might parrot a verse, a baby sheep might be able to quote the verse that changed his life, a preacher may be very eloquent and can talk for hours, but ONLY the Holy Spirit can bring Fruit from those few, or many, words. So, who ordained Adam??? So much for man’s authority to say who is and who isn’t qualified. Who, in your church, has the Holy Spirit authorized to minister the Gospel??? Are you raising up Sheep to go out into the community? Or are you trying to raise up the community to come into your church? A preacher living the faith of his denomination CAN’T PREACH THE WHOLE, FULL GOSPEL, because a denomination doesn’t believe the whole full gospel. That’s why it’s called a denomination, it’s a partial word. God is Fully, Pure, ALL Word. So Preach all you DO know of The Word, and, Be Blessed.
