Daily Devotional. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. Psalm 119:140. Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Proverbs 30:5. Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 1 Timothy 3:9. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. Titus 1:15. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17. Jesus Christ is Pure, there is no mixture in Him. He cannot be defiled, He cannot be watered down, and man cannot change Christ or anything about Him. His Word cannot be diluted and watered down. His instructions cannot be changed. His Word will not change and cannot be “adjusted” to fit a culture. If I say Christ has green eyes, and the bible says He has eyes of fire, than I would be a liar. If I say Christ is Pure, and He has green eyes, I have now made a Christ of my own making. ANY change away from the Bible makes “it” un-pure and therefore a lie. We have to Preach the Whole Truth. Nothing else will be acceptable. I’m not saying you throw out the whole message if it has a lie in it, I’m saying we must throw out the lie so the rest of the message (preached) stays pure. God will Honor his Word, He will not Honor any un-pureness in His Word. A glass of Pure Water, with only a few drops of sewer water in it, is not pure. Can you drink down 3/4 of the glass and say, the rest of the glass is the sewer water? If you Preach one sentence, or all day, be sure it’s Pure, or else stop and go home. Done waste your time, my time, and God’s time. God will Bless His Word, preach IT, and, Be Blessed.
