Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1650

Daily Devotional. Shall I cause (My sword) to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity. And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the Lord have spoken it. Ezekiel 21:30-32. This is a very specific harsh Judgment, by the Lord, against Israel as a nation, spoken by the proper Ezekiel. This is a Great Judgment of the Lord against, His People, the Apple of His Eye. Why? Because again, they had turned their backs on God, and His Ways, and His Provisions, and His Statutes. He was angry with them and was preparing an enemy to “clean house” against Israel. The Lord is careful to only clean out the rot and dead wood, and to be careful with those who were His. Never the less, when He brings Judgment, there is great pain and suffering. America has turned its back on God and judgment is starting to fall on us as a nation. And more importantly, God’s Judgment is falling on “the church” to also clean house, clean out the rot and dead wood, AND to take care of His Own during this time of Cleansing. “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God”? 1 Peter 4:17. Is there a Watchman on the Wall of your church? Is there anyone who will call Sin, Sin? Are we listening to Moses and The Prophets? To learn from them the easy way, instead of the hard way? Is there room for Improvement in your church? Judge yourselves, now, and, Be Blessed.
