As you know, 2,000 years ago He came, made an impact on mankind, went back Home, and sent us the Holy Spirit. This is a win-win for everybody. Read these verses again with the idea of leaving out the part of “smite the earth” and “slay the wicked”. Now, start at the beginning of, ” And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon”, and fill in your name. Yes, fill in your name because we can boldly go through the Throne Room straight to the Feet of Christ and ask Him to make us, like Him. Is this too bold? Too audacious? Presuming too much? I CERTAINLY HOPE SO. Away with wimpy little prayers of ONLY, “ok Lord, your Will be done”, and that’s all. GRAB A HOLD OF THE HORNS OF THE ALTER AND TELL THE LORD YOU’RE NOT LETTING GO UNTIL HE KILLS YOU. Until he kills your flesh, self, and old man nature, and replaces it with His Holiness, His Righteousness, and His Purity. That you continue to grow towards CHRISTLIKENESS. Now, re-read those verse again, with your name in it, and tell the Lord, “Now, Your Will Be Done. Isaiah was writing about me here also”. Until the Lord tells you, “Sorry, I can’t use you, you’re too bold, to believing in the impossible, too full of blind faith”, THEN GO FOR THE GOLD, AND, BE BLESSED.
