Daily Devotional. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? (A list of people in the “church”) 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Woe unto them that are wise IN THEIR OWN EYES, and prudent IN THEIR OWN SIGHT! Isaiah 5:21. Universalism: the doctrine that emphasizes the universal fatherhood of God (whomever he may be and whatever he may look like), and the final salvation of ALL souls. This is the belief that EVERYONE is ultimately going to end up in heaven. Talk to anyone, talk to everyone, almost all of them will tell you that for whatever reason, they will be going to Heaven. Whether a far east religion, or a prayer will get you out of purgatory and into heaven, or our basic denominational churches around the corner, 80% of the people will tell you they are going to Heaven, because…. Universalism is a Deception, no matter where in the world you hear it, it is still a Deception. Does anybody in church today challenge your walk with the Lord? Would you welcome that challenge to prove you do walk with the Lord? Can you answer it with Faith, Scripture, and a Peaceful Assurance? Or are you hoping to slide by and get in the side door? Has the Preacher found holes in your theology? If yes, good. So do you go home and have a Heart to heart with the Lord and close up those holes with the Gospel? Or are you a “Universalist” thinking you and everyone else are all going to Heaven, because God is love? Universalism is just a name for a Heart Attitude of, “I’m good enough”. God says, “No you’re not, only My Son is, follow Him, He’ll lead you in”. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the Truth, and, Be Blessed.
