Daily Devotional. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, AND RUNNING OVER, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38. Read this verse from Luke with the understanding that Christ is our example of this giving, so when He says we will be filled with the Holy Spirit, think on this verse. Get saved, get filled, go preach, that’s it in a nut shell. How many times have you heard the excuse, “I’m just not called to preach to people, the Lord uses me in other ways”? WE ARE ALL CALLED TO PREACH, TEACH, ENCOURAGE, AND LIVE THE GOSPEL!!! No one escapes this one. Do you have to come up with excuses to try to show people what it is that you don’t do as you try to justify yourself, at least in your own mind? Let’s look at this in a different Light. If you are Saved, good, and you are already Filled with the Holy Spirit to OVERFLOWING, then you can’t help but spill over the influence of the Holy Spirit from your Life into other people’s lives. Your whole life is a walking testimony, you can’t hide the work of the Holy Spirit, HIS WORK WILL BE SEEN IN YOU, PERIOD. No, I didn’t say you would get people saved and have notches on your belt. That’s only a part of your Life and Testimony. Even if you had no tongue, you would still exude Christ. You just can’t hold Him in, it’s like a fire in your bones that you can’t contain. Christ WILL be seen in you if you are His. IF, you are His. Do you need to check yourself and be sure? Be Sure, and, Be Blessed.
