Daily Devotional. How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:15. The Gospel of Peace is the Gospel of Christ, Christ is Peace. Again, we’re going for simplicity here. Preaching Christ is Preaching Peace. This is how to be at Peace with yourself and Christ. When we Preach Christ, Peace will be all around us. We will be at Peace with Christ, and ALL other people. This will be from OUR viewpoint, Peace. But with them, the unsaved ones, the Gospel of Peace WILL bring turmoil, joy, or anger. They will gladly receive the Word of Peace, or the Convicting Word of Judgment against them. They may hate you, and even kill you, but you will be a Peace with Christ and Peace-full about everything going on around you. Remember, your job is to preach the gospel of Hope, of Peace, to all, AND LEAVE THE RESULTS COMPLETELY IN THE HANDS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. You live, you die, it is of no concern to you, just preach the Word. A strong word, a light word, either way it’s all from the Lord and in His Hands. Money may dry up, your friends may leave you by the handful, people may spit in your face, whatever, just Obey the leading of the Holy Spirit, and you will be at Peace with the Lord. And if you are at Peace with Him, you will, Be Blessed.
