Daily Devotional. (Big list of “spiritual looking believers”), Having a form of godliness, but denying the Power thereof: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the Knowledge of The Truth. 2 Timothy 3:5-7. Spiritually, only the Holy Spirit Knows the real Heart of each man, and no man with a real Heart for Christ will be lost as Christ will not lose even one of His(to be) Followers. But for the rest of us, APPEARANCES of “great spirituality” is something to be very seriously on the look out for. I don’t mean to go LOOKING for phony “believers”, but to be very careful when you see a “mostly sound” preacher or teacher who seems to preach or teach OK, but there’s just something “off” about what they’re saying, you can’t quite put your finger on it, but something’s not right there. Be VERY cautious and ask the Lord for Discernment about this person. The Lord may simply say, “Leave him (her) alone and don’t believe what they say”, and that’s all. Or He may show you later WHY He told you to leave them alone. Or He may immediately give you Discernment, a Word of Wisdom and a Work of Knowledge and reveal to you the seriousness of their false and deceptive teaching/preaching “ministry”, AND FROM SUCH, TURN AWAY. It’s been said to not touch or talk badly about God’s Anointed, OK, fair enough. But not all of those preachers and teachers have the Hand of the Lord on them as they go out as wolves among the sheep to bring harm and even slaughter to the little lambs. Many of these phonies enter into houses through TV, internet, You Tube and other media just to wreak havoc among Believers not discerning error as they should. As “religious looking” lost people follow these phonies, they fall into even deeper deception. Pray for them all to come to Christ in Repentance unto Salvation. The Lord may tell you, “Don’t pray for that one to EVER, Be Blessed”.
