Daily Devotional. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 12:2-3. (Ssshhh, hey Believers, let’s get our story straight before we go tell the world what’s happening). Can we agree that the Holy Spirit is the ONLY One Who brings people to Christ in Repentance unto Salvation? Can we agree that the Holy Spirit is the One holding back, (restraining) the man of sin, the anti-christ, from coming forward publicly onto the world scene? So far so good. Question, so that the man of sin can be revealed, is the Holy Spirit taken out of the way so that He, (and we), go back to Heaven before the 7 year Tribulation, as in the pre-Trib Rapture theory, OR, does the Holy Spirit simply take down His Hand, (like the cop with his hand up at the intersection holding back traffic), as He, and we, THROUGH CHRIST AND HIS KEEPING POWER, deal with all that goes on in the world for the next 7 years? Is that the basic Tribulation issue, in a nutshell? Is it possible to explain our “stand” about the Rapture WITHOUT using Bible verses, seeing that all 3, (pre, mid & end of it all) camps use the same Bible verses to “prove” their point? Personally, I Believe a Unified Front will go a lot further in Explaining Christ to the world than a shattered, confusing disagreeable presentation would. What will it take to Be One In Christ, WITH CHRIST, as we go out into the world telling them that He IS coming back, He has a Place for them and that He Loves them? Godly Biblical Agreement will go a whole lot farther in this sin sick dying world than infighting and arguing among ourselves ever will. For us, Christ IS the Answer if we could just get self, flesh and the old man sin nature out of the way. What a concept, CHRIST FIRST, as we all bow down to HIS Single Minded Way to GREATLY, Be Blessed.
