Daily Devotional. In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice. The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it. Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath. If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest. The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul. A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. If a ruler hearken to lies, ALL his servants are wicked. Proverbs 29:6-12. Let’s look at “politics” for a moment. It’s been said the definition of “Politics” is “poli”, meaning many, and “tics” meaning little blood sucking entities of no real value, meaning, “many blood suckers”. Sometimes that seems to have some truth to it. Believers, BE CAREFUL, keep your “Discernment Antennas” up and running. The trap is to divide America into following one of two camps. It’s Democrats verses Republicans and one likes to blame the other. And if you’re not happy with either one, you can be “rebellious” and call yourselves Independent. Labels may be OK at times, but don’t fall for blaming a “label” for all our problems, BLAME THE PROBLEM, and work to find the answer to solve the problem. SIN, REBELLION, PRIDE and ARROGANCE, and SELFISHNESS are the problems eating away at the Biblical Foundations some nations and countries were founded on. Attack and get rid of anything and everything even remotely “Biblical” and you can bring down God Himself. At least, that’s The Plan of Satan against mankind. The Bottom Line is simple, God-Less-ness will lead people to Hell. Godliness will lead people to Heaven. Satan works through Sinners, and God works through the Saved Believers. BUT GOD, THE WINNER, will work through, with, for or against anything and everything to bring every single person on planet Earth to the Face to face Understanding that they need to Follow Christ if they want to Eternally, or not, Be Blessed.
