Daily Devotional. In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice. The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it. Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath. If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest. The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul. A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. If a ruler hearken to lies, ALL his servants are wicked. Proverbs 29:6-12. When you play chess, if you look intently at each piece on the board, you’ll see who can attack, who can defend, who to protect and who are the easiest pieces to lose while still putting on a good defense. With your eye ONLY on each individual piece, it’s easy to play a defensive and reactive game only seeing a move or two ahead. This part of the strategy is important, but so far you’ll only see immediate good guys and bad guys, AND WHO TO BLAME WHEN YOU LOSE. Instead, back up, look at the whole picture of what this game is ALL about with Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding about the game from start to finish, and you’ll see Victory before anyone makes even the first move. The Lord sees everything, all the time, and has decided to share with man everything about humanity, how and why things happen as they do, AND HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. There are no setbacks, as “that” was already expected and there are no surprises as Victory has been Promised, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. The Bible IS that Assurance and the Instruction Manual. Believers can Know EVERY step, trick and lie our opponent (Satan) will use AS WE SEE VICTORY THROUGH EVERY SITUATION AND CIRCUMSTANCE THEY PRESENT THEMSELVES. As we see every single piece and their available moves, even our opponent has to “play by the rules” as he plays moment by moment and reactive. We see EVERY move towards Victory and all the Way Through we will, Be Blessed.
