Daily Devotional. Thou PREPAREST A TABLE BEFORE ME in the presence of mine enemies: THOU ANOINTEST MY HEAD WITH OIL; MY CUP RUNNETH OVER. Psalm 23:5. But when thou MAKEST A FEAST, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: AND THOU SHALT BE BLESSED; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the Resurrection of the Just. And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, BLESSED IS HE THAT SHALL EAT BREAD IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Luke 14:13-15. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, BEHOLD, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU. Luke 17:21. They shall be abundantly satisfied WITH THE FATNESS OF (THE LORD’S) HOUSE; and thou shalt make them DRINK OF THE RIVER of thy pleasures. FOR WITH THEE IS THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE: in thy light shall we see light. Psalm 36:8-9. Spiritually speaking, to “Feast” with the Lord is to Read, Study, Pray and Ask for Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding as you Partake of the Word of The Lord. Here’s the Key, the more of the Word of the Lord you take in everyday, the more you will Be Satisfied Spiritually, AND CAN EVEN FEEL” FULL” PHYSICALLY. If “time spent” equals “satisfaction”, how Satisfied do you want to be today? Do you just “want a few crumbs”? You’ll Grow VERY little. But if you want to “dive in head first” and Consume Much of His Word, you will GREATLY Grow in Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of MANY Things the Lord wants to Reveal to you. Literally, “the sky’s the limit”, and you will be Rewarded accordingly. Be careful here, is the Lord Encouraging you to Feast More on His Word, or is Satan always on your back telling you you’ll never read enough to please the Lord, so why even bother trying? Use Discernment, and act accordingly. How MUCH you Grow is up to you. The Lord may bring Conviction into your Life, and Satan will bring Condemnation into your Life, so IT’S UP TO YOU to decide if you want to be, Fat and Happy, or Down and Depressed in your Walk with the Lord to, Be Blessed.
