Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1948

Daily Devotional. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. AND GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS FROM THEIR EYES; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:3-4. My question today will be coming from the realm of, is this possible, is this a way things could be, can it really be this extreme? More of a Bible question, not so much on Bible fact. Here goes. The chapter in Revelation, just before this one, has the very end of the world, and the Judgment Seat of Christ. This chapter has the old earth as gone and God will forever be with us. These are 2 absolutely opposite extremes of all Heaven and earth. Today we cry at weddings, and we cry at funerals. We cry when we win some great thing, and cry when we lose everything. When we hear a bad Dr’s. report, and see a brand new baby. These are extremes for us. How badly will we cry at the Judgment Seat when we see a friend be told, “DEPART FROM ME…” and he is cast into the Lake of Fire? Or hear those wonderful words, “Well done…” and cry for joy? Will we “cry our eyes out” when Christ Declares, “I will make ALL things new”, and we are a part of that FOREVER??? And to hear, “No more death and sorrow…”, how Powerfully will that one hit us? We are capable of limited joy and sorrow here on earth. Will it be so exponentially increased that it will actually take the Hand of God to dry our tears from such extreme “emotional” reactions to The Works of the Hand Of God??? We don’t yet know real joy and sorrow on this side, but when we do on the other side, we will, Be Blessed.
