Daily Devotional.Jesus answered, He it is (that shall betray me), to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop SATAN ENTERED INTO HIM. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. John 13:26-27. How would Judas Iscariot have been received if he were coming to speak at your church? Would he be seen as one of the elite 12 in this new church Preacher Jesus was starting? Was he highly esteemed as one of very few to sit at Jesus feet and listen to Him speak for hours? Would you allow him to set up a display and sell some DVD’s of Preacher Jesus ministering to the people? Could you make a one-time gift to the Ministry and Judas could get you an audience with Preacher Jesus personally for at least 15 minutes? Judas went out with the 12 two by two, he went out with the 70, and came back claiming to heal the sick and cast out demons. Hey, he personally gave money to the poor. Look at him, he’s a Christian at the top of his game! How could anybody doubt he was a Christian? He walked the walk and talked the talk. Jesus must have really trusted him, He gave him all their money to take care of. Looking at all this, would you say Judas was a Christian? But hidden in the background was a secret Love of money. Judas even won the lottery, he was offered 30 pieces of silver if he would betray Jesus. Don’t hurt Jesus, and I’ll do it. They said they wouldn’t, and He did. So, was Judas a Christian, and Satan entered him? Or was Judas a Lord Lord person, and Satan entered him? Judas DID NOT finish the race, he quit 6 feet from the finish line. Jesus said He would lose NONE of His. Judas was lost. He died a sinner, in Hell. Is your Christian walk any stronger than Judas? Do Yes, Finish Strong, and, Be Blessed.
