Daily Devotional. The Righteous cry, and the LORD Heareth, and Delivered them out of ALL their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the Righteous: but the LORD Delivered him out of them all. The LORD Redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that Trust in Him shall be desolate. Psalm 34:17-19,22. From a worldly point of view, many times the Lord will physically bring a person from a hopelessly desperate situation where death seems assured, and put that person safely away from all harm. For example, a man jumps out of a dark ally, points a gun at you and demands all your money, and he suddenly runs away in fear as if he saw a giant angel standing behind you. Or a for sure deadly car accident is unfolding before you and you KNOW you’re a gonner, and the next thing you know, you’re safely past it and can’t explain how you got there. (Thank You Lord). Spiritually, there may be times when a Satanic attack is so severe that it seems all Hope is lost and there’s no way out, and the next thing you know, the attack is over with no harm or damage from the attack, BUT YOUR FAITH HAS GROWN WAY MORE THAN BEFORE THE ATTACK STARTED. “… When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a Standard against him”. Isaiah 59:19. Adversity will arise, that’s a given, but through it all, whether “light duty” or “severe” , the Lord will use everything He wants to to Grow us in CHRISTLIKENESS. Nobody said we get outta here with all parts intact, but we can Walk safely in and with the Lord here on this earth. And yes, the Lord may use a Situation as His Means to call us Home as our race is over and we hear those most Wonderful Words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the Joy of thy Lord”. Matthew 25:21. No one knows their length of days here on planet Earth, but we can ALL Know that whenever they’re over, we will GREATLY, Be Blessed.
