Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4976

Daily Devotional. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Proverbs 24:17. A lost person is not our enemy, but they are an enemy to the Lord, until they “get Saved”, and then everything  changes. How very sad when one dies in their sins without Repentance and therefore, without the Lord. All they have to look forward to is waking up in Hell and KNOWING there is No Hope. Their physical death is a great loss to those left behind as (s)he will be missed. We can offer our Condolences and maybe do something for the family, and generally not much more. That’s the physical part. Spiritually, where no one knows anyone’s thoughts, do you feel pity for the deceased? Is there Compassion towards him, or do the verses say that no one dies without having at least one Heavy Solid Encounter with the Holy Spirit Offering that person the Understanding that they need to come to Christ in Repentance unto Salvation? The Word tells us NO ONE will have an Excuse on Judgment Day for having Rejected Christ as their Lord and Saviour. It’s a hard Reality that some could think, “He had his Chance, he brought it on himself”. Yes, that’s cold, but some will think that anyway. On the other hand, we have to ask the question, what is the thinking going on in the mind and Heart of a lost person who refuses Christ’s Offer, KNOWING this isn’t going to end well? People can Deceive themselves into believing it won’t be That Bad, but that Deception comes AFTER Christ’s Coherent and Understood Offer of Salvation. After death, some will instantly wish they had made a Better Choice, yet some will be so Angry and Hateful still towards God that they’ll still delude themselves that anyplace away from God is still better. Well, maybe in the beginning, but eventually their Decision to Reject Christ will sink in and Eternal Regret will take over. Pride and Arrogance can carry a lost person only so far before Reality sinks in. To die in one’s sins is how NOT to Eternally, Be Blessed.
