Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4974

Daily Devotional. A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue. An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him. Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction. He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief. A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment. Proverbs 17:4,11,13,15,19-20,23. (Just when we thought we were done with these verses). Let’s put this into perspective, these 7 verses of named Sins are just a few of a whole bag of sins. This list is not just describing how the rich and worldly live and act, no, these sins represent a “Heart Attitude” of sin that can be found in anyone. (Believers are Forgiven of their sins as the Lord Changes their heart attitudes toward Christ). The Bible says that NO sin can enter Heaven so even 1 of these listed sins, and all the rest of those not listed,  is enough to keep anyone out of Heaven. No matter how “good” a person you think you are, just 1 sin will be enough for you to be condemned to Hell, JUST 1. Only by recognizing the Fact that you ARE a sinner, and asking Christ to Forgive you of ALL your sins, can you then be called “Sinless” by Christ AND BE WELCOMED INTO HEAVEN. Christ has covered you with His Sinlessness and the Father sees Christ in you as your sins are cast into the Sea of Forgetfulness, NEVER to be remembered against you again. Will you ever sin again? Yes, and you’ll be forgiven again AS CHRIST GROWS YOUR HEART AWAY FROM THE OLD DESIRES TO SIN AND INTO A GREATER DESIRE TO LIVE SINLESSLY. He’ll even show you personally, everyday, how to Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS. It’s a “win-win” Pleasing to Christ, to Grow in Obedience and to, Be Blessed.
