Daily Devotional. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and THAT YE RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES. Revelation 18:4. This may be a specific call, at a specific time, and a specific place, but it’s also a call for Christians to come out of worldliness and even worldly places. I don’t see anywhere in the Bible where the Lord ISN’T calling people out of “the world” and to Himself. There is no Fear in Christ, except a healthy Fear and Reverence of God Almighty. The world is fast becoming a more dangerous place with man doing dirty to man more and more often. It seems that EVERYTHING is fair game to attack, hurt, talk bad about, or get back at, and churches are being pulled into the mix too. Take a moment and again, examine yourself. Do you go where you’re supposed to go, or do you sometimes ease over into disobedience, just a little, hoping you don’t get caught? Just a little “innocent fun, no one will know, no one will get hurt”? Then someone sprays the place with an AK-47 and your family is going to your funeral. You knew you weren’t supposed to go there, but, just for a minute, and your plan all fell to pieces. Come out of worldliness, worldly places, and worldly talk. God’s calling us ALL out for a reason, and He’s calling us out TODAY. Try this for size. If it’s not Holy, not a thing of Righteousness, or is Un-pure, try to give the Lord a good reason why you SHOULD go, see, and do, and see if He says it’s OK. Look at your day, pick a sin, and ask the Lord to help you not do that sin again. Try one a day, and after 1 week, can you see and feel a difference? This will also grow a greater and greater desire to be Holy, Righteous, and Pure in your eyes, and the Lord’s. This makes for a good day, and doesn’t everyone want a good day? Well, anyway, start with you, and you, Be Blessed.
