Daily Devotional. And not only so, BUT WE GLORY IN TRIBULATIONS ALSO : knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the Love of God is shed abroad in our Hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:3-5. The following is directly copied from Google: [Christians are expected to face tribulations, as scripture indicates these trials serve to strengthen faith, build character, and foster maturity in Christ. Rather than removing believers from suffering, God often uses trials to conform them to Christ’s image, proving the genuineness of their faith and preparing them for eternity.] The above, in parentheses, shows that even man, “Google”, recognizes that Tribulations will build Christians and bring them closer to CHRISTLIKENESS. So what’s the difference between Tribulation and Great Tribulation as described in the Book of Revelation? Maybe this illustration will help; The Lord used the Waters of Noah’s Flood to bring great Death and Destruction to those God haters who fell under God’s Holy Judgment, AND those same waters to save Noah and his family FROM Judgment. Noah’s Flood was used to Judge man, AND to Save man. Same flood. In the coming days, (years?) God’s “Tribulation” will be used to Grow Believers into more CHRISTLIKENESS, and to show every single Sinner that without Christ, nothing but utter Death and Destruction awaits them. Even while the sinner is alive, “Tribulation” is one last Mercy Call to come to Christ in Repentance unto Salvation. Even while that same Tribulation may kill them into a Living Death for all Eternity. While a man has breath, he’s fair game for Salvation. After he breathes his last, Mercy is gone, the Salvation Door is shut, and a Christless Eternity is all that remains. Even though the Great Tribulation will be harder than this world has never seen, it also represents how “hard” Mercy and Grace will “push” to bring Home even the last Believer to, Be Blessed.
