Daily Devotional. Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: NO man cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME. If ye had Known Me, ye should have Known My Father also: and from henceforth ye Know Him, and have seen Him. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The Words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that Dwelleth in Me, HE DOETH THE WORKS. Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me FOR THE VERY WORKS’ SAKE. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that Believeth on Me, the Works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father. John 14:6-7,10-12. “Speak softly and carry a big stick” was popularized by U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt who verbally said what Christ actually did. Christ not only spoke the words that He and the Father are One, He also demonstrated this Fact by all the Works that He did. No one could do the Works and Miracles that Jesus did without the backing of His Father, The Lord God Almighty. When Jesus Spoke words, the tangible, physical results were there as a Testimony of the Power He Possessed as His Father worked THROUGH Christ causing Miracles to follow in His Wake. When Jesus spoke, He NEVER had to raise His Voice to be Heard as even the wind and the waves hushed as they heard THEIR CREATOR WAS SPEAKING. As Jesus Spoke, ALL OF MANKIND RECOGNIZED THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING HAD SOMETHING TO SAY as the Holy Spirit quietly moved through mankind Witnessing that Christ is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and that the Words of Christ, backed up by His Deeds, are the Highest, and Final, AUTHORITY. ALL of mankind Knows and Understands the Headship of Christ over ALL of Creation, period, end of Discussion. The “best” that unbelievers can do is SAY they don’t Believe, but they’re only words they themselves KNOW aren’t true. They can rant and rage against The Truth, but deep down they KNOW His Word will GREATLY, Be Blessed.
