Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 4959

Daily Devotional. Take heed to yourselves, that your Heart BE NOT DECEIVED, and ye turn aside, AND SERVE OTHER gODS, AND WORSHIP THEM; Deuteronomy 11:16. The following discussion will be an extreme illustration “over the top”, only to make a point about how sneaky Deception can be. “Most American Believers are Deceived into believing that AI (Artificial Intelligence) is alright, and a good thing”. Like I said, over the top and now something to think about. AI has some very good points to it and many of us enjoy those niceties. Cell phones, in particular, have Google Maps, “swiping” and Spell Check with text massages, and “Ask Google”. We can look something up and get back way more information than we were looking for. Two of my friends were quietly talking in their bedroom one night about “something”, and within minutes both of their cell phones had all kinds of info on what they were talking about. Siri and Alexa are two, of many, home help devices designed to make life easier. Modern refrigerators can even call the grocery store and have home delivery of items you’re running low on. Little automated vacuum cleaners can run around the house cleaning floors and not knock anything over. The happy, friendly use of AI is increasing Exponentially, with no end in sight. It seems that most people don’t even think of the letters “A I” when they’re using the phone, but they do enjoy the ease and convenience of telling it what to do. We’ll have to admit, AI in whatever form it comes in, seems like a great thing. And that’s exactly what AI is designed to do, get into your life and be a “friend” you really don’t want to live without. Look at AI like an iceberg, only 10% is visible, that’s the “nice & friendly” part, and 90% is hidden out of sight, and that’s going to be the dark &  dangerous side of AI. At the moment, it’s still your choice how and how much you want to use AI in your life. The days are coming when life will be saturated with AI, and you can STILL learn to Greatly, Be Blessed.
